Energy Storage Technologies

On the Energy storage side, there are several alternatives available

• Batteries
• Superconducting magnetic energy storage
• Flywheels
• Supercapacitors
• Compressed air energy storage
• Pumped hydropower storage

...have yet to compare and assess them (their economy). Batteries look like a viable one: simplest and cheapest? (but may be expensive in the long term)
at least you do not need an expert to maintain them.
....superconducting magnet (sure is hella interesting, for a physicist like me ;-)
